Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Leadership
- Build and maintain trusted, strategic relationships with senior client stakeholders, becoming a go-to partner for all branding and creative needs.
- Own senior client relationships ensuring critical insights and opportunities are developed while insuring we remain top of mind with key client cross functional contacts, be their strategic partner, building deep and broad relationships in the wider client organisation.
- Ensure the agency consistently delivers outstanding service, innovative solutions, and measurable results.
- Act as a strategic advisor, identifying opportunities to drive value and expand relationships within existing accounts.
- Work hand in hand with relevant Programme Director
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of account managers and account directors, ensuring they deliver high-quality work and meet performance goals.
- Provide guidance on client strategy, communication, and problem-solving.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the account team.
- Partnering with relevant Programme/Project Director
- Strategic Account Management
- Oversee the strategic direction, planning, and execution of client projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and brand objectives.
- Monitor the performance of accounts, meeting revenue targets and ensuring profitability and operational efficiency.
- Address client challenges proactively, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Business Growth & Development
- Commercial ownership of your clients, including MSA, rate negotiations, renewals & RFPs. Responsible for forecasting accurately and delivering your number
- Be accountable to your account plans and to deliver revenue and margin growth in your portfolio of clients (diversifying work into all offerings of Marks).
- Identify and pursue opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts, including upselling and cross-selling services.
- Collaborate with new business teams on pitches and proposals, contributing to the agency’s growth strategy.
- Maintain a deep understanding of client industries, market trends, and competitive landscapes to provide strategic insights.
- Financial Management
- Manage account budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring profitability targets are met.
- Review and approve client proposals, contracts, and statements of work.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing and financial reporting.
- Agency Leadership
- Contribute to the overall leadership of the agency, helping shape its vision, culture, and strategic direction.
- Act as a senior representative of the agency in client meetings, industry events, and internal initiatives.
- Collaborate with creative, strategy, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of work across all disciplines.
