Job Purpose:
Support the organization for CAPEX planning, financing and accounting and to optimize budgeting and cost expenditure for monitoring and control of resources to complete the project within schedule and cost estimate In line with SABIC guidelines while maintaining proper documentation.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate 3 Year CAP EX planning with internal and external SABTANK stakeholders and corporate functions.
- Evaluate unplanned CAPEX and prioritize projects budgets accordingly for the 3 SABTANK affiliates and its 14 users.
- Prepare Project justification based on company risk assessment and business planning to ensure initial project justification calibrated prior to screening exercise
- Mega Projects evaluation and initiation.
- Prepare Project justification based on company risk assessment and business planning to ensure initial project justification calibrated prior to screening exercise.
- Monitor projects spending and improve/suggest cost control tools.
- Give recommendation in improving the budgeting strategy for better traceability and control of expenses.
- Project Accounting and finance internally and alongside corporate functions for Asset creation and AuC balancing.
- Internal for the 3 SABTANK affiliates
- External with SABTANK users – 14+
- Ensure proper accounting treatment for projects.
- To differentiate between CAPEX and OPEX activities in line with SABIC and SABTANK relevant manuals.
- Invoicing and invoice tracking
- Project Assurance – to ensure project adherence as per SABIC Management System and Policy and accordingly documented.
- Project process (OMS-214) audit, optimization, and benchmarking.
- CAPEX KPI calculation and compliance to ensure projects are financed and closed in a systematic and timely manner
- Preventing scope creep/duplication by reviewing project documents and controlling CR’s in accordance to SABTANK and SABIC procedure.
- Utilizing SAP PS, MM and FICO to support the previous tasks
- Creating Project AR, WBS/sub-WBS, creating and managing activity elements in SAP for all the projects, support in mitigating SAP related problems
- Stakeholders’ management – to ensure all the previous is done and communicated also for SABTANK users as per their requirement.
- In addition to Overseeing project reporting with the required stakeholders.
- Leading meetings with said stakeholders
- Support service agreement (SSA) – Development, cost estimating, monitoring and documenting those additional services provided to SABTANK customer.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
Minimum Experience:
- 5-9 years of experience
- Functional, Technical, and basic knowledge in centralized integrated computer systems like SAP and Microsoft office.
- Master preferred
Job Specific Skills:
- Three to eight years various practical and Management experience in project and/or business management.
- Good command over computer software and programs.
