Pay/Benefits at a Glance:
- The pay range for this position is between $23.00 - $29.35 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
- This position is an on-call position with variable hours. Availability will be required based on client, program, and operational needs.

What You Will Do
The Residential Counselor is responsible for independently performing counseling duties in support of residential and/or housing services. Positions at this level exercise judgment and initiative in their assigned tasks, receives continuous coaching and direction or assistance as new or unusual situations arise, and are fully aware of the operating procedures and policies of the residential program.

Qualifications
Education
- · High School Diploma
Experience
- · A minimum of six (6) months of prior experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities who have challenging behavior.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Positions in the Crisis Home must become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within 12 months of employment.
- Complete online courses within a 180-day period or be a Qualified Behavior Modification Professional.
- Participation in RBT supervision as assigned.
- Possession of a valid California Driver’s License, a satisfactory driving record, and a properly registered and insured vehicle, to be maintained throughout employment.
