Job Description

The Floor Scale team requires a safe working, detail-oriented material handler that can carry out most of the material handling for the value stream.  They will be responsible for ensuring the production team has all the materials, tools, and resources to complete their jobs. What you will do:Understand and navigate the building using our storage location systemEffectively Receive inbound goods with high quality and attention to detail by entering Goods Receipt transactions within SAPWork with Tactical / Strategic Buyers to coordinate and receive critical deliveries.Unloading of Supplier trucks / vans via forkliftWork with Tactical Buyers on all Supplier receiving issues and provide Supplier performance feedbackScan and Archive all Pack Slips on a daily basis into SAPDeliver and handle materials as needed in productionSupply Component parts to Weigh Modules as neededReplenish stocks lineside throughout the floor 1st thing every morningEnsure timely delivery of goods to individual work centers as neededReplenish materials via kanban, re-order point, or other means of notificationDocument disturbances Work with the Inventory Manager to ensure our inventory aligns with SAP by submitting material shortages and outagesEnsure that the receiving area is clean and in orderly condition at the end of each shift.Safely operate fork trucks and cranesAbility to cross-train and assist other departments  Drive box truck to pickup orders from other MT facilities as neededActively participate in facility 5S and Lean initiativesPerform daily activities safely in regards to own self as well as others and in wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.Assist in identifying improvement opportunities.
