Section Manager (Chef de Partie)


Café
Anatolia is a growing cafe chain with 12 branches throughout the
North Island. We have an excellent reputation for fresh, healthy
and Turkish cuisine made to order for our customers. We serve over
14000 customers in a week with a team of over 110 employees in the
group. 


We
have several full time positions available for
Section Manager (Chef De Partie) at our commercial kitchen facility in
Hastings, Hawke's Bay. 



KEY
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
 

  
The section manager will be fully responsible for number of food items prepared and processed in our commercial kitchen facility including including inventory, stock control, production, recipe management, merchandising and quality control. Following are the responsibility outcomes in the role but not limited to:

·        Ensure the manufacturing plant is clean at
all times

·        Keep the premise hazard free at all times

·        Ensure all cooking & production schedules
are implemented

·        Ensure all company policies and business procedures
are followed at all times

·        Ensure all staff members are adequately
trained and performing to expectations for the section in charge

·        Ensure the section revenues are maximised by
achieving production targets, and reducing wastage.

·        Carry out periodical merchandising duties at
client’s premise to ensure products are correctly used by the branches.
 

·        Carry out periodical and incidental recipe
audits and take part in recipe trials.

·        Assist the Production/Distribution Manager as
required within the scope of food production.

Qualifications

·      A recognized hospitality qualification or certificate is
required but can be substituted with proven work experience.

computer literacy to process orders and keep

·      One year’s experience in food manufacturing
or commercial catering.

·      One year’s experience supervising a team
