PARAPROFESSIONAL - PIANO ACCOMPANIST

8 HRS PER WEEK

REMAINDER OF THE 2025/26 SY ONLY

 

DAILY ASSIGNMENT:  This person will be the piano accompanist and provide paraprofessional support for the choir program.
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or recognized equivalent and two years of study at an institution of higher education (72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the one hundred level or higher) or an AA Degree (or higher) or a score of 455 or above on the ETS ParaPro Assessment required or completed an apprenticeship as a paraeducator, in a program registered with the WA State Apprenticeship and Training Council. - Required
• Possesses a Washington State Substitute Teacher Certification - Preferred
• High Skill level as a piano accompanist.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule and travel when necessary for performances and school bus trips that will include non-school days and hours.
• Must possess effective organizational, accurate recordkeeping and time management skills.
• Desired characteristics include flexibility, a desire to learn new ideas and skills and willingness to receive training.
• Must possess skills necessary to work effectively in a positive manner with staff, students and families from diverse cultural, linguistic, social and economic background.
• Must complete and pass a background check through Washington State Patrol and FBI

RCW 49.58.110 REQUIREMENTS
Hourly Rate: $18.80 - $24.87 (Depending on Education & Experience)
