Kauai Air Conditioning & Plumbing is seeking a reliable and motivated Installations Laborer to join our Installations Department. Being on time, hardworking, safety-focused, and willing to take initiative are essential qualities for success in this entry-level role.
Under the supervision of the HVAC Lead, the Installations Laborer assists with the installation of various HVAC systems and supports the fabrication and installation of ductwork. This position involves hands-on work, learning opportunities, and the chance to grow technical skills within the HVAC trade. The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, and committed to contributing to high-quality installation projects across the island.
Job Functions
Assist HVAC Lead and other HVAC Technicians with the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of a variety of HVAC systems.
Assist other departments when necessary.
Arrive at the jobsite at scheduled time and location as dispatched.
Read and understand SOPs for specific tasks.
Perform work with a focus on Safety and Quality.
Always maintain professional appearance and attitude.
Work as a team - practice honesty and transparency, take responsibility for your actions, be flexible, work together to identify issues/problems and develop solutions.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized job site.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work vehicle.
Take personal responsibility for safety performance and program compliance.
Familiarize yourself with proper tools and various materials used at jobsites.
Any additional duties/responsibilities deemed as necessary.
