THE ROLE The UAC Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing Uncleared and Abandoned Cargo (UAC) operations. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient handling of UAC files, reducing case volumes, and minimizing costs associated with abandoned cargo. The coordinator works in close collaboration with commercial colleagues to negotiate demurrage discounts and improve client database accuracy. Additionally, the role involves recovering costs from clients, maintaining a well-organized archive system, and contributing to a proactive and dynamic team environment.
