Your Impact:
The Security Supervisor is responsible for running the security department’s activities during the shift, including but not limited to reviewing security staffing levels to maintain full coverage of posts, assign specific tasks and other responsibilities to Security Officers, and investigate security related incidents and/or concerns and report to Manager of Security Operations.
The Security Supervisor will maintain positive and professional relationships and maintain visibility throughout each shift. He or she supports all staff by building positive employee relations and maintaining a positive motivating team approach. It is essential that all duties be performed with the highest level of integrity, supports Inglis Values and Standards of Excellence, and ensures compliance with regulatory agencies.

What You'll Do:
· Communicate to Department Head, Security, regarding issues and or situations occurring within the facility, via both written and verbal communication methods.
· Respond to all emergencies and provide support as needed until appropriate response arrives.
· Monitor surveillance cameras and verify individual’s identification.
· Develop security department schedules and assignments.
· Onboard and train new officers in facility and department policies and procedures. Ensure that new hires complete required all required training.
· Ensure that all electronic and surveillance systems including phone system, in-house paging system, surveillance cameras and equipment, and ID access system are functional.
· Assists in the supervision of Security Officers on assigned shift and provide support as necessary.
· Serves as support to management and assists in conducting investigations of significant threats and/or the loss or misappropriation of assets.
· Lead room searches as well as escorts, when needed.
· Ensure all logs, incident reports, and rover sheets are collected at the end of each shift, reviewed, and sent to the Department Head.
What We're Looking For:
• Preferred or five (5) years’ security experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working with Security Operations, knowledge of investigative procedures, union environments and Emergency Response.
• Must be able to conduct investigations and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action.
• Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships.
Pay Rate for this Role: $35k-$45k/ annually
