Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Dispatcher to support daily school bus operations. In this role, you’ll ensure on‑time service, assist drivers, manage communication, and help keep routes running smoothly.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily routing, scheduling, and dispatch of buses
  • Provide communication and support to drivers and contracted customers
  • Address service issues, customer concerns, and driver scheduling needs
  • Manage phone and radio communication throughout the day
  • Assist with charter bookings, billing, payroll, hiring, or licensing tasks as needed
  • Support drivers with operational needs and ensure compliance with safety and company policies
  • Perform clerical tasks or backup driving when required

Requirements

  • 3+ years of transportation industry experience
  • Supervisory/managerial experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain CDL (or currently hold one)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work early mornings
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
