Description:
The Key Room Assistant reports directly to the Key Room Manager and assists in the overall management of the Key Room. Key Room Assistants are hired for the academic year unless there is cause for termination.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the distribution and collection of room and mailbox keys.
- Works collaboratively with the Key Room Manager as well as Residence Life, Facilities, and Campus Safety in the operation of the Key Room.
Qualifications:
- Must be a full-time student at Ursinus College in good academic and disciplinary standing
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Google Drive
- Must return to campus before first-year move-in in the Fall Semester and approximately five days before the spring semester. Key Room Assistants are expected to stay late after commencement to assist with a key inventory.
- Must abide by the policies and expectations set forth in the Student Handbook. Involvement in incidents that jeopardize the positive disciplinary standing with the College shall be subject to discipline as a student, as a Key Room Assistant, and/or dismissal from the position.
