Description

The Fox West YMCA and Neenah-Menasha YMCA are hiring Group Fitness Water Instructors to lead personal wellness & fitness classes in our pool in the evenings. You provide the energetic know-how and the enthusiasm; we’ll provide the equipment and resources you need to succeed. 

This is a part-time, evening aquatics position with evening class times available. Additional hours are also available, both in the pool and on land. We encourage those with a passion for fitness to apply, no matter what your prior experience. We can provide all the necessary trainings. 

Requirements

• Intermediate knowledge of anatomy, body mechanics, and exercise physiology.  
• Certification in Group Fitness &/or Strength & Conditioning or be willing to obtain through Y USA or another nationally-recognized program.  
• Certification in CPR, First-Aid & AED or be willing to obtain through the YMCA once hired.  
• Prior experience in teaching fitness classes or have completed the Y’s Group Fitness Instructor Training Program or be willing to obtain through the YMCA once hired.
