Job Description

The IT Business Enablement Manager serves as the critical liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. This role is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and translating business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements that enable successful delivery of technology solutions. The TBA ensures solutions align with business goals, optimize processes, and deliver measurable value.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Business & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with business leaders, product owners, and end users to understand business objectives, pain points, and desired outcomes
  • Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions
  • Act as a trusted advisor by recommending technology-enabled solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements & Analysis

  • Elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements (e.g., BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria)
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements in collaboration with architects and engineering teams
  • Perform gap analyses, impact analyses, and process mapping (current state vs. future state)
  • Support prioritization and scope definition to balance business value, cost, and timelines

Delivery Support

  • Work closely with project managers, product owners, enterprise applications teams, and QA teams throughout the SDLC or Agile lifecycle
  • Support solution design reviews to ensure alignment with documented requirements
  • Assist with test planning, UAT coordination, defect triage, and validation of delivered functionality
  • Ensure traceability between requirements, design, testing, and deployed solutions

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and technology modernization
  • Contribute to standards, templates, and best practices for business analysis and documentation
  • Support change management and user adoption through training materials and communication

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technology Business Analyst, Business Relationship Manager or similar role
  • Strong experience working with:
    • Requirements elicitation and documentation
    • Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies
    • Cross-functional technology teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in enterprise applications, cloud platforms, data/analytics, or system integrations
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, SQL, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar
  • Knowledge of API-based integrations, data flows, and system architectures
  • Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience working in a Manufacturing, Distribution or HVAC environment a plus.

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $105k - $138k annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
