General Summary:
This position is responsible for leading, coaching, motivating and training a sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales goals. Customer interaction and communication is also critical to ensure the right solution for our customers.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead, motivate and coach a sales team and sales managers to successfully reach monthly sales goals.
- Enforce quota expectations.
- Provide weekly/monthly forecasts.
- Measure KPI's for team and individual performance.
- Provide feedback and 1:1 coaching for continuous sales improvement and success.
- Monitor performance of team members via side-by-side observation, call monitoring, call statistics and other tools available to improve effectiveness of sales calls and organization skills.
- Enhance team competence by training, mentoring and guiding on product and procedural questions.
- Participate in client communications as needed.
- Assist team members in identifying customers to grow and expand revenue opportunities.
- Create, track and deliver on divisional MBO's related to customer growth, expansion and retention.
- Be a change champion.
- Collaborate with other sales managers, upper management and other key stakeholders.
- Support company and departmental decisions in alignment with Company strategy and goals.
- Ensure team members provide best customer experience in all aspects of sales, service, quality, accuracy and professionalism.
- Address performance issues as necessary.
- Provide input and recommendations for systems, technologies, and processes that improve operational and sales efficiency.
- Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.
