Job Description
Job Summary:

The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, ensuring compliance with Mexican labor laws and company policies. This position will partner with managers and employees to foster a positive work environment, drive HR initiatives, and provide guidance on HR processes.  The role will act as a single point of contact between the Guadalajara office and the HR department in Tampa.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, manage HRIS updates, and prepare reports as needed.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Assist with payroll coordination ensuring accuracy and compliance, benefits administration, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Performance Management: Support performance review cycles, provide guidance to managers, and track development plans.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to Mexican labor laws, company policies, and health & safety standards.
  • Training & Development: Coordinate training sessions and support employee development initiatives.
  • Culture & Engagement: Participate in employee engagement programs and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Support talent acquisition efforts, coordinate interviews, manage offer letters, and ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 4–6 years of HR experience, preferably in a multinational or fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Mexican labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
  • Language: Fluency in both Spanish and English required.
