We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance and CI Poly to support secure, mission-critical systems for a U.S. Government client. This role involves building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure with tools like Terraform and Ansible, managing containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes), and ensuring compliance with federal security standards. You’ll work closely with development and security teams to optimize deployments, improve system reliability, and maintain secure cloud environments.

Position Overview:
We're seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to support mission-critical systems for a U.S. Government customer. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in modern CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and secure cloud environments. You’ll collaborate with software engineers, security professionals, and system administrators to streamline deployments and improve system performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and scale CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
- Maintain secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), applying DevSecOps principles
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
- Ensure compliance with government security standards and patching requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
- U.S. Citizenship
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering role
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm)
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services
- Familiarity with configuration management and automation tools
- Experience working in secure, classified environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community or DoD missions
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, FedRAMP)
- Experience with GitOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Certification in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD)
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of STIGs, ACAS, and other security tools used in federal environments
- Prior experience with classified data handling and cross-domain solutions
