General Manager (GM) – Embassy Suites Palmdale, CA
Palmdale, California | Full-Service Hotel Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead operations at a 156-room Embassy Suites in Palmdale, California.
This is a high-impact leadership role for a hospitality professional who can drive operational performance, lead teams, strengthen guest satisfaction, and deliver financial results.
The ideal candidate is a strong operator, visible leader, and business-minded hotel executive who can balance guest experience, team engagement, and bottom-line performance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including Rooms, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, Sales, and Guest Services
Drive financial performance, including revenue, expense controls, labor management, and GOP performance
Lead forecasting, budgeting, and P&L accountability
Ensure strong guest satisfaction, service recovery, and brand standards execution
Lead, develop, and hold accountable the hotel leadership team
Support sales efforts and partner with commercial leadership to grow market share
Maintain brand compliance, quality assurance readiness, and operational discipline
Oversee meeting/event operations (4,000 sq. ft. of meeting space)
Support capital planning, maintenance priorities, and asset preservation
Build an engaged culture focused on performance, service, and retention
Qualifications
5+ years progressive hotel leadership experience
Prior General Manager or strong Assistant General Manager experience in a branded hotel required
Full-service hotel experience strongly preferred
Experience with Hilton brand standards a plus
Strong background in financial management, labor controls, and guest service performance
Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and drive results
Experience with P&L accountability, forecasting, and operational planning
Systems knowledge such as OnQ or similar preferred

Compensation
Base Salary: $95,000–$115,000
Performance-based bonus opportunity
