Description

We are currently seeking Residential Direct Support Professionals that can provide coverage as well as leadership, training and support to our individuals.


SHIFTS



15-40 Hours per week available. Day, Evening, and Overnight Shifts Available.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Provide personal care and assistance to the individual consistent with both their physical needs and defined support plans.

  • Creates a congenial and homelike atmosphere within the home.

  • Implementation of the ISP goals. Assists and guides the everyday personal and social growth and development of each individual within the program by coaching on appropriate attitudes and behavior for community living.

  • Assists the individuals in seeking and obtaining adequate community resources and services, when necessary.

  • Protects each individual’s right and freedoms and maintains the confidentiality of any information relating to individuals in the residential program.

Job Requirements



  • High school diploma required.

  • Valid Driver license, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.

  • Acceptable CORI report and suitable fingerprint results required.

  • Must be certified in First Aid, CPR; or be able to become certified (training provided)

  • At least one year of directly related experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
