Veterinary Assistant – Full Time
Must be available to work every other Saturday

We are looking for a dependable, compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our busy and growing veterinary team. This is a fast-paced position ideal for someone who works well independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting doctors and technicians with exams and treatments

• Animal restraint and patient care

• Drawing up and giving vaccines as appropriate

• Lab work and diagnostics - prepping labwork to send out as well as running in-house labwork

• Maintaining clean exam rooms and treatment areas

• Accurate medical recordkeeping (Avimark experience a plus!)

• Bonus if able to draw blood and other technicial skills.

Qualifications:

• Previous veterinary experience preferred

• Experience with Avimark is a plus

• Strong communication and multitasking skills

• Must be reliable and able to work every other Saturday
