Job Description

WE ARE
Renewal by Andersen of Central Virginia, the replacement division of Andersen Windows, is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its growing team. This is a full-time, in-office position based in our Richmond office located on Deep Rock Road in the West End. The role operates in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and offers the opportunity to be part of a collaborative and growing team.

YOUR ROLE

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing final payments, maintaining accurate receivables records, and supporting the collections process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all final payments from orders, including check, credit card, and financed transactions
  • Ensure compliance with federal requirements when processing financed orders
  • Contact homeowners regarding open balances via phone, email, and text
  • Review and reconcile Accounts Receivable reports to ensure accuracy
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to determine order status for collections
  • Partner with leadership to review and follow established collection processes
  • Research discrepancies and resolve past-due accounts
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records
  • Assist with monthly reconciliation and reporting as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Minimum of 2 years of accounts receivable experience required
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to handle collections professionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
