Job Description

Role Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst partners with business leaders to drive financial planning, performance insights, and data-driven decision-making. This role blends core FP&A with advanced analytics across customers, products, pricing, and revenue to improve profitability and support growth.

 

Hybrid role based out of the Chicago office. Monday - Wednesday onsite required

Key Responsibilities

FP&A

  • Lead divisional budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
  • Establish financial targets aligned to strategy
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting and performance insights
  • Partner with business leaders to review results and identify drivers

 

Analytics & Business Insights

  • Analyze customer behavior, segmentation, retention, and pipeline performance
  • Evaluate product performance, new product opportunities, and SKU optimization
  • Support pricing strategy through elasticity, variance, and discount analysis
  • Assess profitability across products, customers, and channels
  • Build revenue forecasts, growth models, and scenario analyses

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5+ years of FP&A or financial analytics experience
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel, experience with planning tools (e.g., One Stream, Hyperion) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred
