We are now accepting applications for our paid Summer Internship Program. This posting will be used to identify and engage with potential candidates who are interested in participating in future summer internship opportunities with Alliant.
This program is expected to last 8 weeks from June through July with internships lasting no longer than 90 calendar days. Benefits of this program may include, but are not limited to, course credit, scholarship opportunities, and cross-functional networking events.

Each internship is custom tailored to the student's background, interests, and the needs of the hiring team but you can find a general overview of our intern duties and responsibilities below.
SUMMARY
Provides general administrative support to department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with support issues and responds to all problems in a timely, courteous manner;
May conduct miscellaneous filing;
Answers telephone and routes calls to others; operates scanners, printers and copiers;
Provides word processing assistance as required;
Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Currently enrolled in a college as a junior or senior, majoring in a related field of study
Related work experience
SKILLS
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills
Good problem solving and time management skills
Intermediate typing skills (30-35 wpm)
Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
