Job Description

Job Summary

Under the general supervision and direction of the Assistant Superintendent or designee, the Social Worker (K–12) provides district-wide support to students and families. Services may include home visits, student and parent conferences, classroom presentations, individual and group counseling, parent education, and professional development sessions for staff and the community. The Social Worker helps remove barriers to learning by supporting social-emotional development, connecting families to resources, and fostering positive relationships among school, home, and community.

Requirements / Qualifications

• TB test clearance and DOJ fingerprint clearance.
• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
• Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential – School Social Work preferred.
• Bilingual ability (Spanish) preferred.
• Experience in case management, student group facilitation, and crisis counseling preferred.
• Experience working with school-aged children and families in educational or community settings preferred.

Salary Info

$78,119 - $97,507 Plus $2,000 Master's stipend or Doctorate $2,500
