Overview 概述 We are seeking a seasoned Lead Test Engineer with expertise in electronics and embedded software to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative electronic products. Responsibilities include define and improve the software test architect, strategies and process, create the test plan, developing automation, integrating with automated build processes, mentoring software test engineer and technicians, and providing feedback on bugs identified in testing. This person will also work together with HW/SW engineer tightly and contribute to the bug fixing by provide detailed data, log and other clues clearly. You will lead the testing efforts, lead the test engineers and the supplier’s resource to achieve product excellence. Responsibilities 职责 Key Responsibilities: 1. Test Strategy Development:   - Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for embedded systems and electronics.   - Define testing methodologies, processes, and criteria for quality assurance. 2. Team Leadership:   - Lead and mentor the other test engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.   - Coordinate test efforts across cross-functional teams including hardware design, software development, and project management. 3. Test Planning & Execution:   - Develop detailed test plans and schedules; ensure all testing is executed according to timelines.   - Oversee functional, integration, and system-level testing of embedded software. - Design and develop tools hardware in loop test for HW/SW isolation test and integration test - Debug failures, file accurate bug reports and work with development to identify the root cause 4. Test Automation:   - Identify and implement automated testing solutions to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. E.g., design and develop hardware in loop test.   - Collaborate with software engineers to integrate automated tests into the development pipeline 5.Documentation & Reporting:   - Maintain accurate documentation test cases, results, and defect reports.   - Analyze test results and provide regular feedback to stakeholders on product quality and reliability. 6.Continuous Improvement:   - Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with engineering teams to implement corrective actions.   - Stay updated with industry standards best practices; recommend improvements to testing protocols. 7. May be required to perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 资格 1..Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 2.Minimum of 10 years of experience in testing electronics and embedded systems, with 3 years in a lead or senior role. 3.Strong understanding of embedded software development and electronics principles. 4.Proficiency in testing tools and methodologies, including but not limited to automated testing frameworks. 5.Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for test automation. 6.Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking. 7.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 8. Experience with the product software/hardware development is a plus 9. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools as VSTS, Azure DevOps or equivalent tool is a plus.
