POSITION SUMMARY
The HR Coordinator is responsible for performing a broad range of daily Human Resources tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Recruiting: Assists the Recruiting Team by coordinating interviews with hiring managers
- Onboarding:
- Collects ID documents to ensure employment authorization eligibility
- Ensures completion of onboarding documents in the ADP system.
- Educates new-hires on company policies, culture and internal procedures
- HRIS: Inputs data and maintains accurate records in ADP for employee changes
- Employee Relations: Serves as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
- Assists managers with employee counseling, conflict resolution and disciplinary issues
- Mediates employee conflicts
- Compliance: Assists with ensuring company practices adhere to all employment law regulatory requirements including FLSA, FMLA, EEO, ERISA, COBRA, DOL and ADA.
- Policy Administration: Assists with creating and updating HR policies and Employee Handbook to reflect current company practices and laws, ensuring consistent enforcement
- Assists with coordinating leaves of absence, ensuring compliance with FMLA law and STD benefits
- Assists with drafting job descriptions
- Assists with reviewing monthly last-paycheck reports and requesting manager responses for employee retention or termination
- Responds to employee questions regarding benefits, including PTO balance, insurance and 401k
- Other duties as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent education required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field preferred
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience
- PHR preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform level mathematical skills
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe
- Experience operating standard office equipment
- For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
