Role Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to join our procurement team for 12 months Fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-impact industry while supporting key supply chain operations.

Responsibilities
- Place and manage purchase orders with precision and timeliness.
- Attend procurement and cross-functional meetings at our Crawley manufacturing site.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Support cost reduction initiatives and benchmark supply chain competitiveness.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Engineering teams on NPI projects.
- Assist the Senior Buyer with negotiations and strategic sourcing.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards through process documentation.
- Resolve supplier invoice queries and manage demand requests.
- Ensure suppliers consistently meet cost, quality, and delivery targets (Total Cost of Ownership).
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
- Office-based availability with some flexibility.
