Hours:
- Approximately 6 hours per week
Duties:
The Teaching Assistant supports course delivery through timely, consistent grading and student support in an online learning environment. This role emphasizes high-quality feedback, accurate grade management, and professional communication with students.
Coordination Between Two TAs:
- Participate in initial grading calibration session.
- Periodically cross-check grading for consistency.
- Divide workload by section, assignment type, or alphabetically.
- Communicate regularly to resolve edge cases.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled and in good academic and disciplinary standing with the university.
- Must have successfully completed GIGU and Men's Health.
- Demonstrated strong performance in course assignments, particularly written or project-based work.
- Reliable access to and familiarity with Canvas.
