Assistant Director of Student Services

Start Date: 07/01/2026
Salary Range: $142,506.00 - $168,972 as per the RPSA contract commensurate with experience
Benefits: Health, Prescription and Dental Benefits, Tenure eligible, Pension eligible
Appropriate NJ Certifications Required: Principal or Administrator

About the position: The Assistant Director of Student Services supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of district-wide special education and student support services. This role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, promotes inclusive practices, and works collaboratively with administrators, staff, and families to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success of all students.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or related field

• Valid New Jersey Administrator or Principal certification required

• Teacher of Students with Disabilities or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 3�5 years of experience in special education or student services
• Strong knowledge of NJ special education regulations and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
