Clinician Contractor - Children's Services

Services provided at BHcare are for Children, Adolescents, and Adults. Services will include intake assessments and psychosocial evaluations; individual, group, and family psychotherapy. Within the delivery of services, the provider will




  • Assess clients' mental health status, abilities, and ongoing service appropriateness.

  • Assist clients in developing and implementing individual treatment plans; regularly review and modify plans, focusing on achieving goals.

  • Obtain insurance authorization and complete re-authorizations promptly.

  • Communicate clients' needs with emergency personnel and hospital staff.

  • Conduct care coordination and communication activities based on needs identified in the treatment plan.

Qualifications



  • Master's or doctoral degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling, psychology or a related mental health field required.

  • Clinical experience in a psychiatric or substance abuse setting preferred.

  • Must be proficient with PCs and Microsoft Office Word & Outlook, able to perform concurrent documentation and navigate through electronic health record.
