About the role:
Type: Full Time Salaried
Compensation: $63,000-$94,000
Location: Fully Remote, must be in the United States
Hours: Full Time Days

What to Expect:
The Production Operations Systems Analyst supports the stability, functionality, and continuous improvement of operational tools and data systems that drive production performance. This role serves as the primary Tier 2 support resource for internal production, membership, and CSD-related systems, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and root causes are identified.
In addition to day-to-day support, this role contributes to automation initiatives, system enhancements, and ongoing maintenance of internally developed tools, including Excel/VBA-based applications and SQL-backed systems. The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly analytical, and comfortable working across a wide range of both proprietary and third-party software solutions.
Responsibilities:
Tier 2 Systems & Application Support
- Serve as Tier 2 support for production and membership-related systems, troubleshooting escalated issues and identifying root causes
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, system errors, and workflow interruptions impacting operational teams
- Write and execute SQL queries to research issues, validate data, and support resolution efforts
- Partner with IT when deeper infrastructure or system-level intervention is required
- Document recurring issues and contribute to knowledge base and process documentation
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas of risk or inefficiency
- Configure and maintain data across a wide range of systems
Projects & Automation
- Support automation initiatives to streamline reporting, workflows, and operational processes
- Develop and enhance Excel-based tools using advanced formulas, VBA, and macros tied to SQL back-end databases
- Assist in improving reporting capabilities through query optimization and process automation
- Participate in system enhancements and cross-functional operational projects
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve scalability
Internal Tool Maintenance & Optimization
- Maintain and support internally developed tools, including Excel/VBA interfaces and web-based applications built on .NET frameworks
- Perform routine system checks, updates, and enhancements to ensure stability and usability
- Support front-end interface updates (C#, CSS, HTML) in partnership with IT as needed
- Assist with basic database administration tasks, including data validation, stored procedure review, and environment support
- Support light system administration activities such as application configurations and web server coordination, as needed
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, or related field)
- Equivalent work experience will be considered
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in systems support, data operations, production support, or application support roles
- Experience supporting operational teams in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to internal tools, proprietary systems, or multi-platform software environments
Technical Skills
Required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and VBA/macros
- Working knowledge of SQL Server and ability to write intermediate-level queries
- Understanding of database structures and data validation practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Preferred
- Experience supporting or maintaining Excel front-end applications tied to SQL back-end databases
- Familiarity with .NET framework applications (C#, HTML, CSS)
- Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools
- Basic understanding of web server configurations or light systems administration
