Technology Migration & Customer Support
The rapid evolution of technology demands exceptional technical support to both retain existing customers and drive new business acquisition.
Objectives & Responsibilities
1) Global Technical Support
• Deliver cross-regional technical expertise to secure new business opportunities.
• Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring customer success and satisfaction.
2) Technical Support & Troubleshooting
• Deliver technical and product presentations, providing pre-sales support to customers.
• Troubleshoot issues (including log analysis, tracing, and on-site testing) to identify root causes of field problems.
• Document failure reports, propose solutions or workarounds, and escalate internal defects in a structured manner.
• Assist customers in developing new wireless applications (e.g., test scripts, application notes, design guidelines).
3) Customer & Partner Engagement
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet design-win targets and drive revenue growth.
• Provide exceptional customer support, along with product and technical training for distributors and customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers‘ technical and management teams.
• Work with internal teams to log defect reports, identify solutions/workarounds, and ensure timely resolution for customer satisfaction.
4) Field & Regional Support
• Travel within assigned regions to:
• Support customers‘ R&D teams with onsite troubleshooting, development assistance, and roadmap discussions.
• Engage with indirect sales channels, conduct workshops, and deliver training sessions
• Conduct the onsite project review upon the customer requests (mainly to U.S)
5) Project & Business Management
• Present Telit Cinterion‘s product portfolio to sales teams and customers, offering pre-sales support.
• Coordinate technical support and recommend appropriate support packages for key customers.
• Proactively monitor direct and distributor business by closely collaborating with customer partners.
• Evaluate, prioritize, and manage customer requirements for internal processing.
• Provide technical support during RFI/RFQ processes.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Required Degree: Bachelor’s or Master‘s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 5–10 years in the wireless industry, semiconductor sector, or embedded design & development.
• Strong understanding of IoT market trends and key verticals (e.g., Security, Healthcare, Energy, POS).
• Knowledge of wireless communication technologies (GSM/WCDMA/LTE/5G) and 3GPP standardization (e.g., Rel. x).
• Familiarity with Android & embedded Linux, embedded SW concepts, and programming languages (C/C++/Python).
• Knowledge of HW/SW development processes; experience with factory production is a plus.
• Understanding of IoT security and related services.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and MNO approval processes.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken) with excellent internal and customer-facing communication skills.
• Strong presentation abilities and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Skilled in building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
• Results-driven, self-disciplined, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities/timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
• Embedded SW background
• Project & Customer Management
• Proven experience in project management (scheduling, risk/cost control) and crisis/escalation handling, with experience to coordinate multi-sites
• Pre-sales or customer project management skills are highly preferred.
