✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Behavioral Health Specialist at Southern California Treatment Program in Torrance, CA

Pay: Rate starting at $23.00 per hour

Perks and Benefits: You will be eligible for Medical insurance on the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment. What you will do: You will be responsible for providing mental health rehabilitation and support services to our residents to ensure stability and successful transition back to the community. You will participate in developing and monitoring each resident’s individual treatment plan and coordinate services with social workers, probation officers, medical/mental health providers, and other institutions.

To be considered you must: Demonstrate empathy, patience, and respect, along with a genuine desire to work with troubled teens. ~ Successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, physical exam, and TB test. ~ Hold a current State Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record for the past three years. ~ Retain one of the following combinations: An Associate’s degree with six years of related experience, a Bachelor’s degree with four years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with two years of related experience. Relevant experience includes working with youth in a mental health setting as a specialist in the fields of physical restoration, social adjustment, or vocational adjustment.

LA Shifts: Monday – Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
