JOB SUMMARY:

The HR Associate helps drive talent processes and programs that ensure successful execution of talent objectives across the Textron enterprise. In this position you will provide hands-on human resources support to Textron’s HR organization and participate in key HR activities across talent acquisition & management, learning & development, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is energized by working on a variety of assignments and projects, both independently and in a team setting and will bring strong organizational skills, intellectual curiosity, and a customer focused mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support day to day operations of the talent teams, providing exemplary customer support to business units and other stakeholders.
  • Understand the needs of both internal and external customers to ensure that our systems and processes continue to support our talent strategy and deliver an exceptional experience; identify and recommend changes and updates as needed.
  • Develop, review, and deliver training to HR and end customers.
  • Benchmark best practices and anticipate industry trends to foster innovation and improve process and program effectiveness.  
  • Support the development and distribution of key talent metrics and standard reports across Textron.
  • Document, organize and maintain work instructions for HR processes. Identify and implement process improvements as needed.
  • Lead or assist with special projects that align to department and function objectives and initiatives. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
  • Protect and maintain the privacy of employee personnel records including, but not limited to, personal and compensation information about employees.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, communications, or related field.
  • Prior internship experience in human resources or related role. Experience with HR Systems a plus.

  • Communicates effectively, conveys information clearly and concisely when speaking or writing.

  • Strong process improvement mindset with the ability to streamline processes, drive results, and present findings to management.
  • Data collection and analysis, ability to analyze data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.
