Job Duties
- Indentifies trends and opportunities in Epic workflows related to registration, scheduling, and billing in Epic.
- Monitor assigned practice Epic work queues and KPI's. Provide necessary reports, process changes and performance outcomes required to attain top decile performance.
- Epic super user certification. Oversee conversion process to Epic and legacy system rundown for assigned practices, provide minimal training/review of work flow and work queue operations for assigned practices.
- Review, audit and troubleshoot processes between PBS and assigned practices. Assist in development of new operational workflows in the Epic system.
- Monitor all patient billing issues as they relate to assigned practices. Ensure proper completion of issues and patient satisfaction.
- Identify report and resolve billing errors, compliance issues or reimbursement concerns for assigned practices. Partner with leadership on resolving outstanding appeals.
- Monitor payer policy and legislative changes and there impact on assigned practices operations. Document, communicate and assist with any required operational or system changes. Meet monthly with practice Chairman/Administration to ensure understanding of current practice financials and any expected impact based on new legislation or policies.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- 5 years related experience
- Experience in hospital and physcian billing and follow-up, coding, reimbursement guidelines, payer policy and health insurance
- Strong working knowledge/understanding of EPIC, Advanced Microsoft Office (excel , MS Access)
- Ability to review/interpret financial reports, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, strong understanding of provider's revenue cycle process
- Strong organizational skills and ablilty to multi-task.
- Strong presentation skills and track record presenting to practice/hospitaldepartment chairs, executives, etc...
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Mgmt, or related studies
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
