Position Summary:
The Market Demand Planner supports the Demand Planning team by managing and maintaining planning master data, ensuring the accuracy and alignment of forecasts across systems, and performing analytical reviews to improve forecast reliability. The role works closely with Market Demand Planners, Supply Planning, and cross-functional teams to validate sales forecasts, analyze trends and variances, and identify the root causes of forecast errors. The position also contributes to reporting, business reviews, and strategic planning activities while helping maintain high forecast accuracy and supporting the overall demand planning process.
Responsibilities:
Control master data for products and customers
Create and maintain IBP master data and planning objects
Ensure forecast data consistency across systems
Validate alignment of forecasts across tools
Clean and update historical data and forecasts
Perform demand and forecast analysis
Produce reports and performance reviews
Support forecast accuracy improvements
Collaborate with Market Demand Planners and DP Analysts
Challenge and validate sales forecasts
Support Supply Planning with reliable forecasts
Prepare presentations for business reviews
Contribute to S&OE and management review packs
Identify and analyze forecast error root causes
Maintain archives from SAP IBP system
Provide backup support within Demand Planning team
What we are looking for:
2+ years’ experience in supply chain or demand planning
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Degree-level education
Fluent in English
Experience working with data and forecasting
Ability to work in a remote or hybrid team environment
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Problem-solving mindset
Project management skills
Ability to work cross-functionally
Collaborative and team-oriented approach
