TITLE
Career & Technical Center Director
POSITION TYPE

PRIMARY FUNCTION
To support the Mission and Beliefs of the District when carrying out duties and responsiblities as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Educator License with an administration endorsement issued by the Mississippi Department of Education
- Preferred - 3 years administration experience
- Preferred CTC Experience
REPORTS TO
Superintendent
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer all building affairs.
- Supervises implentations of curriculum, goals and objectives of school and district, Board of Education policies, and state and federal regulations.
- Provide a systematic method of data collection and utilazation of data to improve student achievement and reduce discipline breaches
- Make formal and informal visits to classroom teachers to determine if daily lesson plans are in use as developed
- Provide specific training activities to help teachers effectively address student achievement and student disiclpline weakness/problem areas.
- Supervise implementation and evaluation of school-based programs, including staffing and placement of students into programs.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
232 days per year Salary according to School Board Pay Schedule
EVALUATION
Performance on this job will be evaluated in accordance with School Board policy and administrative regulations on the evaluation of licensed personnel.
