Job Description

The role oversees laboratory operations and translational research within a neurogenomics-focused environment. This includes directing wet lab workflows and ensuring laboratory-generated data are accurately captured, organized, and prepared for downstream bioinformatics analysis. The role provides technical guidance across wet lab and data activities, guiding workflows, identifying inefficiencies or compliance gaps, and contributing to standards of practice to ensure data integrity and effective integration across research processes. The position also trains and provides day-to-day oversight of undergraduate and rotation students, ensuring safety, accuracy, and quality of work. In addition, the role oversees lab resources and supplies orders as well as general administrative operations, and ensures compliance with institutional, federal, and international requirements. While the role does not have formal supervisory authority, it provides ongoing guidance and directs daily laboratory operations and research activities.
