Job Overview

Licensed Insurance Advisor (Part-Time, Remote – Illinois Licensed)

We’re looking for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys helping people understand their coverage—without the pressure of sales, quotas, or chasing business.

This role is ideal for someone who has spent years in insurance and wants to stay engaged, use their expertise, and have meaningful client conversations in a flexible, part-time capacity.

This is a service and advisory role—not a sales position.

What you'll do:

  • Take scheduled calls with clients who want expert guidance
  • Explain coverage clearly and confidently
  • Decide what needs to happen next
  • Hand off work to Client Care OR complete small follow-ups

What you will NOT do:

  • No quoting
  • No data entry
  • No chasing documents

Salary Range: $30.00 per hour

  • Active Illinois Property & Casualty License (required)
  • 5+ years of insurance experience (Personal Lines preferred)
  • Strong understanding of coverage, underwriting, and client service issues
  • Excellent spoken English and communication skills
  • Comfortable working part-time with a flexible schedule
  • Able to handle client conversations with patience and confidence
  • Not seeking a sales role (this is advisory/service-focused)
  • Reliable internet and ability to attend scheduled calls

  • Take scheduled calls with clients needing help with coverage, billing, or policy questions
  • Listen carefully and understand the real problem (cost, coverage, or confusion)
  • Explain insurance in simple, clear language
  • Recommend next steps and make decisions on how to resolve the issue
  • Delegate follow-up tasks to the Client Care Team
  • Review completed work for accuracy when needed
  • Maintain a calm, professional, and helpful tone at all times
