Description

Account Executive Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead BAS account plans and strategies for each assigned account leveraging all available resources (executive sponsors, marketing, technical, services)
  • Drive revenue growth through new project identification, creation, and attach opportunities
  • Forecast and report activity accurately in line with expectations.
  • Identify major projects within end-user accounts and manage activities to maximize product and service revenue
  • Provide customers and partners with pricing and configurations to meet their needs as required
  • Forge high-level relationships within A/E, Contractor and End-user accounts to win incremental product and service business
  • Follow through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion
  • Assist customers and potential customers with problems involving the use of company products and services and recommend suitable resolutions accordingly

Requirements

Account Executive Qualifications:

  • High School degree or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or similar field is preferred
  • Minimum of five years of previous, relevant sales and operations experience preferred
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries preferred: building automation and controls, mechanical engineering, mechanical equipment, energy management.
  • Experience in applying solution-selling methodologies to maximize corporate revenue growth
  • Any credentials, including: CEM, EIT, PE, CHEP, LEED
