Job Description

Position: Program Security Representative (PSR)

Clearance: Top Secret (TS)/ Security Clearance with SCI is required and current within the last five years

Work Location: Arlington, VA 

Work Hours: Monday through Friday onsite (Regular Full-time)

Work authorization: United States (Required) 

 

Position Summary

The Program Security Representative (PSR) serves as a senior security advisor responsible for delivering multi-discipline security support across Special Access Programs (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and collateral programs. This role provides program-level security oversight, risk analysis, and policy interpretation to ensure the protection of classified information. The PSR interfaces directly with Program Security Officers (PSOs), senior leadership, and mission partners to evaluate security posture, guide decision-making, and ensure regulatory compliance across complex program environments.


Duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide comprehensive security support across SAP, SCI, and collateral programs
  • Advise leadership on security risks, compliance posture, and mitigation strategies
  • Develop and deliver indoctrination, debriefings, and program-specific security briefings
  • Conduct Operational Security (OPSEC) assessments, including:
    • Identification of Critical Program Information (CPI)
    • Threat analysis and vulnerability assessments
  • Develop and maintain OPSEC plans and mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate with international offices to support:
    • Designated Disclosure Letters (DDL)
    • Project Agreements and foreign disclosure requirements
  • Ensure compliance with CUI, CMI, and international security policies
  • Support accreditation and oversight of SAPFs, SCIFs, and AIS environments
  • Maintain and update security data across enterprise systems, including:
    • JADE, DISS, DFASTS, SCS, DSMD, and related platforms
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of program security data across multiple systems
  • Track personnel access, facilities, and program documentation


Position Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (current within 5 years)
  • SAP eligibility and willingness to undergo CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree + 4 years of relevant experience OR 6+ years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Demonstrated experience supporting SAP, SCI, and collateral security programs
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Executive Order 13526
    • NISPOM and SAP Overprints
    • ICD/DCID series
    • DoD SAP security policies
  • Advanced analytical and risk assessment skills
  • Strong executive-level briefing and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret policy and apply it to complex scenarios
  • Cross-functional coordination and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Eligible for issuance of a Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Must be able to work onsite in Arlington, Virginia 
  • Completion of initial and ongoing security training is required.
  • Must meet client suitability.
