The Media & Trend Department oversees Rakuten’s media business, serving as a key user touchpoint within the Rakuten Group.
Guided by the mission “Supporting everyday life,” we operate multiple media services—including point-based media, news, and lifestyle content—used by more than 10 million users on a monthly basis.Our portfolio of media services includes Rakuten Super Point Screen, Rakuten Web Search, Rakuten Personal Finance, Infoseek, Rakuten Real Estate, Rakuten Blog, Rakuten Recipe, and Rakuten Calendar.

Position Details
Position Overview
This position is part of the Media Business and is responsible for providing marketing solutions to clients by leveraging Rakuten’s various media platforms, Rakuten data, and advanced optimization technologies.
You will address clients’ marketing challenges by taking ownership of the entire process—from data-driven target analysis and media planning to campaign execution and performance evaluation—aiming to maximize business outcomes through media solutions.
Depending on the assigned media and your experience and interests, you may be involved in a wide range of responsibilities, from new business proposals to deepening relationships with existing clients and leading campaign initiatives.

Mandatory Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in solution-oriented B2B sales or consultative corporate sales
- Basic understanding of advertising performance metrics such as CTR, CVR, and CPA
- Ability to aggregate data and conduct basic analysis using Excel or Google Sheets
Desired Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of advertising performance metrics (e.g., CTR, CVR, CPA) and experience proposing improvements through advertising products
- Experience with ad trafficking, campaign setup, and budget management
- Data analysis skills using SQL and/or Python
- Experience in team management or people leadership
