Role Summary
Assists the Coordinator in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Region 3 Communications and Marketing (MAC) Department. Provides clerical, organizational, and communication support for print, digital, and internal/external communication efforts. Works under moderate supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
- Preferred: experience in an office, clerical, or communications-related role
- Preferred: Associate’s Degree
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic proofreading and formatting skills
- General knowledge of computer operations and software applications, especially those utilized in Region 3
- Experience troubleshooting application systems.
- Effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Customer service mindset and professionalism
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Essential Functions
- Draft, format, and proofread basic communications (emails, memos, newsletters)
- Provide clerical support including filing, record keeping, and document organization
- Assist with preparing and distributing printed and digital materials
- Inspect printed materials for cleanliness and accuracy during assembly.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders via phone, email, and in person
- Maintain organized communication logs, reports, and correspondence
- Support website updates and social media posts as needed
- Assist with event communications, materials, and coordination
- Assist with various events year round including conferences.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

- Experience with Canva or basic graphic design
- Familiarity with social media platforms
- Basic website editing experience
