Job Skills / Requirements

LACOSTA is looking for an experienced inventory candidate to join us as a Material Flow Associate. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate material counts and supporting inventory control processes within the warehouse. This role requires prior inventory experience and strong attention to detail.

Schedule:Up to 32 hours per weekTypical shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PMHours may vary to align with business needs and weekly hour limits

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr (Paid weekly every Friday)

Job Description:

Key responsibilities include conducting physical inventory counts, verifying material information, and ensuring accurate system updates. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting production operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical counts of raw materials including paper wrap, corrugate, and other inventory items
  • Verify material numbers, batch/lot numbers, quantities, and storage locations
  • Accurately record and enter inventory data into SAP and/or manual count sheets
  • Execute spot counts, recounts, and assist with variance investigations
  • Support inventory audits and unplanned verification requests
  • Identify and report discrepancies, damaged materials, or inventory issues
  • Maintain organized and accurate inventory storage areas
  • Follow all safety, quality, and inventory control procedures
  • Meet deadlines with a strong focus on accuracy and accountability

Requirements:

  • Required: Prior inventory experience (warehouse, manufacturing, or similar environment)
  • Experience with SAP or inventory systems preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
  • Ability to follow changing processes and instructions
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, and lifting as needed
  • Reliable attendance is essential
