JOB TITLE: Area Specialist

Club Car boasts a 60+ year history of industry-leading innovation and design, initially focused on golf cars and then expanding to commercial utility vehicles and personal-use transportation.


GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Under direct supervision, as assigned by either the Supervisor or the Team Lead, ensures parts and products are received and warehoused. Serves as the subject matter expert for their assigned area. 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Verifies all incoming and/or outgoing shipments against bill of lading information for any visible damage. 
  • Review inbound shipping documents to ensure accuracy. 
  • Research Root Cause and Document daily inaccurate inventory.
  • File customers’ orders according to standard operating procedure.
  • Collaborate with Inventory Control personnel on validating needed adjustments.
  • Record daily ASN/Receipt issues for both offsite and main Plant.
  • Correspond daily with vendors and planners on ongoing issues with a supplier.
  • Work closely with the AP Department (Outstanding vendor issue with payment)
  • Fix PMC error for COMI/SOMI
  • Communicate with appropriate cross-functional team members to ensure processes are followed, and any problems are resolved in a timely manner. 
  • Completes daily receiving entries in the computer system and distributes them to the Accounts Payable office for filing. 
  • Identifies and records any problems relating to the product, process, or systems. 
  • Initiates, recommends and provides solutions through appropriate channels and verifies implementation. 
  • Creates, maintains, and reports needed data, documentation, and paperwork. 


OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains a safe and productive work environment by ensuring the work area is clear of tools, brooms, debris, and other items that may present a hazard.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
  • Must be able to work overtime as necessary. 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent required. 

Experience: 

  • Previous Receiving Experience required. 
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work requires periodic stooping/bending and frequent walking/standing throughout the day. 
  • Requires occasional lifting of objects less than 25 pounds as well as occasional lifting of objects 25 to 50 pounds. 
  • Work involves activities that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, or vehicles. 
  • Requires use of protective clothing.
