Job Description

Meridian Cooperative is looking for a Vice President of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization at a pivotal moment of growth.



This role is about more than delivery—it’s about setting vision, elevating quality, and building a high-performing engineering culture that powers mission-critical platforms for the industries we serve. If you’re a leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and quality, we’d like connect.



As the VP of Engineering, you will:




  • Define and execute the engineering and architectural vision for a growing SaaS organization

  • Lead distributed engineering and QA teams delivering complex, enterprise-scale solutions

  • Partner with Product, PMO, and executive leadership to bring strategic roadmaps to life

  • Build a culture rooted in accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement

  • Own and evolve our Software Quality Assurance (SQA) strategy across the full SDLC

  • Champion modern QA practices, including automation, CI/CD-integrated testing, and performance/security validation

  • Build and lead a best-in-class QA organization with strong standards, tooling, and governance

  • Implement metrics-driven insights (defects, coverage, release health) to continuously improve outcomes

  • Ensure our products deliver not just functionality—but reliability, scalability, and exceptional user experience



What You’ll Bring




  • 12+ years in software engineering and QA, with 5+ years in senior leadership

  • Proven experience leading enterprise engineering and QA organizations

  • Proficiency in various programming languages and technologies

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, tools, and best practices 

  • Deep expertise in modern development practices, architecture, and quality frameworks

  • A track record of aligning technology strategy with business outcomes
