Position Summary: The Service Foreman plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality repair services by planning and executing each repair efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role involves hands-on leadership and collaboration with team members to uphold company standards and provide excellent service. 

 

The Blueprint for Success - Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan each repair service, including material and resource requirements.

  • Perform repairs efficiently, ensuring timely completion.

  • Check in with customers upon arrival and provide updates during the repair process.

  • Check out with customers after completing the service, ensuring satisfaction.

  • Report materials used immediately after repairs to the Service Coordinator.

  • Post before-and-after pictures for each service job.

  • Report any additional work required to the Service Manager and obtain approval before proceeding.

  • Set start times with the assigned service helper and ensure proper communication.

  • Clock in and out accurately for each service job using the timekeeping system.

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures during repairs.

  • Ensure all work complies with company standards and relevant regulations.

  • Provide feedback on service operations to improve efficiency and quality.

  • Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Service Manager.

  • Additional Service leader duties as needed.

Requirements

Tools for the Job: 

Required: 

  • Minimum of five years of roofing experience

  • High proficiency of commercial roofing and/or construction knowledge 

  • Knowledge in all roofing systems
  • Knowledge or roofing manufacturer specifications
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair roof leaks
  • Proven experience in supervising field operations

  • Knowledge of OSHA compliance

  • Proficiency in Google, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and project management software

  • The ability to work in different environmental conditions.

  • Strong leadership and communications skills

  • Highly trained in conflict management 

  • Valid Driver's License

Preferred: 

  • Proficient in the safe handling and utilization of ladders
