Job Description

Role:



Responsible for assisting the branch manager with the operation of the branch office with respect to teller and loan functions as well as providing quality service to members. Assists with coaching and development of branch staff.



 



Essential Functions & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:




  1. Assists the branch manager to ensure all branch activities are completed in a timely manner and are in compliance with established credit union policies and procedures. Determines when appropriate exceptions can be made.

  2. Assists the branch manager to ensure active and on-going coaching and development to assigned branch staff. Writes and conducts performance appraisals and identifies training needs.

  3. Performs cash audits as assigned.

  4. Assists with member inquiries, complaints and issues that cannot be resolved by branch personnel.

  5. Serves as a loan officer for consumer loans up to the amount assigned in credit union policy.

  6. Assists with processing employee loan requests.

  7. Reviews and approves time off requests.

  8. Serves as a back-up for all branch roles/positions.

  9. Serve as back-up branch manager for other branches when needed.

  10. Other duties as assigned.
