Senior Lead Advanced Engineering Engineer – Radar

Location Nanjing, China

YOUR TASKS

  • As Radar algo. development expertise, you will
    need to lead algorithm development of next generation radar, e.g., Range
    & Doppler FFT algo., data compression algo., Beamforming algo. etc.
  • You will need to focus on algo. which can
    improve radar performance, reduce interference, build calibration method,
    and reduce latency.
  • You will need to perform research,
    development, and implementation of new algorithms for radar. Especially
    you will work with internal experts e.g., EEA engineer and V2X engineer, to
    evaluate influence of new calculation platform e.g., zonal module, domain
    computer or HPC, and you will need to take new sensor information into
    consideration to generate perception algo. to further improve radar
    performance
  • You will be involved in development of
    realizing add on values to radar, e.g., radar sensor fusion with V2X or
    provide radar algo. as a product to SOA platform. By understanding
    customer requirements and market trends, build new use cases and business
    model, we want you to lead to design of new add on values for customers
  • You will work with HW/SYS experts to implement
    the algo., design the validation use cases and under simulation and real
    vehicle environment to evaluate performance improvement
  • You will need
    to participate standardization work groups meetings e.g., NTCAS, SAE etc.
    to close track and monitor Chinese standard status, also have a good
    understanding from global standards in AD/ADAS/ICV area.
  • Tracking/collecting
    automotive related market trend, new technology and new application, close
    monitor regulations/ association and industry standards/ specifications.
  • Coordinate the
    innovation activities in company, develop key technical competencies and
    establish a strong network with internal and external engineering teams.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

    expecting a radar algo. developer who has experience in a team-based
    project from inception to finish across multiple disciplines, e.g., from
    HW design and imTechnical
  • We are expecting a radar algo. developer who has experience in a team-based project from inception to finish across multiple disciplines, e.g., from HW design and implementation to data acquisition and analysis, to mathematical modeling and algorithm design to application implementation.
  • You should be familiar with radar working principle, algo., signal processing and related ADAS use cases. Ideally, we are expecting sensor perception know how and detailed algorithm development/tuning experience. Additionally, the understanding of V2X system and ADAS system will generate great benefit
  • We are expecting 5+ years’ work experience of SW developer, System engineer or architect, proven experience of developing complex automotive SW products 
  • Good understanding of radar based ADAS system features like ACC, AEB, TJA, BSD, etc.
  • You should have proficiency in writing optimized codes in multiple programming languages, e.g., C/C++, MATLAB etc.
