CCLS Program Coordinator

Salary range: $55,000 – $62,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Independence Center

Independence Center is seeking a CCLS Program Coordinator to oversee our Comprehensive Community Living Support program and housing operations. This leadership position supervises program staff, coordinates supportive housing services, and ensures program compliance while supporting individuals with complex behavioral health needs in maintaining stable housing and recovery.

The Program Coordinator provides operational oversight of transitional and supportive housing programs, supervises program staff, and coordinates housing placements, property management, and safety procedures across multiple residential sites.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise program staff, including the CCLS Program Manager, Screeners, CST Team Lead, Transportation Manager, and Part-Time Property & Maintenance Manager
  • Coordinate supportive housing operations, including tenant placement, waitlists, leases, move-ins, and housing stability support
  • Oversee property maintenance, inspections, and vendor services for program housing
  • Manage the program on-call system and respond to urgent housing or program issues
  • Ensure compliance with housing and behavioral health program requirements
  • Monitor tenant concerns, lease violations, and housing program documentation
  • Coordinate housing inspections and ensure safe living environments for residents
  • Collaborate with clinical teams and community partners to support recovery and housing stability

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a human services field preferred
  • Experience working in behavioral health, supportive housing, or community programs
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Housing First, HUD, IHDA, or supportive housing programs is a plus
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Valid driver’s license required

Physical Requirements

Ability to visit multiple housing sites and access second-floor units and basement areas via stairs.

Requirements

A Master's in a human service field from an accredited institution is required.

Clinical license preferred.

Must be self-motivated, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

A collaborative, solution-focused team player must help facilitate safe patient outcomes and contribute to institutional goals.

Previous clinical work experience in a health care, residential, and or acute care setting preferred.
