What are we looking for?

The Senior Manager, Merchandising & Product Operations oversees the organization’s procurement, merchandising, and distribution of products, including apparel, accessories, and related items. This role is vital for ensuring the successful execution of merchandising strategies that align with market trends and customer preferences. The Senior Manager, Merchandise, partners with various departments to enhance product offerings and optimize inventory management, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

  • Lead Merchandise Activities within the Organization
  • Ensure that all merchandising strategies are aligned with the organization's objectives and market needs
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance product offerings and improve sales performance
  • Work alongside marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to coordinate product launches and promotional activities
  • Engage with external partners and vendors to secure advantageous partnerships and product lines
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform merchandising decisions and inventory management
  • Create and execute strategies that drive product growth and increase overall business performance
  • Monitor inventory levels and product performance to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of merchandising strategies
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends for executive management
  • Develop a well-trained, cross-functional merchandise team; Mentor and motivate staff, maximizing individual contribution, professional growth, and ability to function effectively as a team
  • Encourage a customer-centric approach to ensure that all merchandise aligns with customer needs and preferences
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

 

What’s necessary to do the job? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required; focus on operations merchandise preferred
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelors
  • 7+ years of experience in Merchandising products required
  • Strong understanding of the Project Management Life Cycle and frameworks required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required

The wage range for applicants for this position is [$100,000.00 to $115,000.00].
